Painting of two hands adorned with rings, surrounded by swirling lines in blue, yellow, and green on a dark textured background.

Inspiration taken from childhood nostalgia and the innocent whimsy that is lost through the inevitable process of becoming

Wistful Affection

A painting of a woman with long, dark hair, shown from the back, with her head resting on her hand. She has red coral-like adornments on her neck and shoulder, and her body is painted in shades of blue, purple, and pink, creating a dreamy, abstract effect.

Theatrical Application: Tragic Beauty

The reimagining of how gruesome tragedy can be alluring and elegant. Consequently commissioned to produce a wearable sculpture worn by “infected” characters in the play Dracula

An abstract painting of two human arms and hands tying a white string, surrounded by orange geometric shapes and a dark blue background with small blue dots.

Tangled Earbuds

portraying another level of forceful internal tension that goes otherwise unseen.

A vibrant painting of a woman with short brown hair, smiling and laughing with eyes closed. She has a blue patterned cloth wrapped around her head and face, revealing part of her bright skin. The background is dark blue.

The Blue Identity

is emblematic of the scary simplicity of tearing away an identity that does not pertain to you anymore.

Painting of a jaguar, a woman, and a baby in a stylized, semi-abstract art style. The jaguar has detailed spots, and the woman and baby are rendered in muted tones. The background features textured earth tones with red accents.

Rendition of Igor Altuna’s “Holding On”

A painting of a sunset over a river, with a motorcycle flying through the sky and leaving a trail of sparks, an empty wooden bench on green grass, and trees on the right side.

Motorcycle Dreams

An Experimental piece that aims to blend impressionism and surrealism

A colorful, abstract painting of multiple eyes layered vertically, with bold strokes of yellow, black, red, and blue on a white background.

Heart of Darkness

This work pulls inspiration directly from Joseph Conrads 1899 novel Heart of Darkness; Utilizing four different quotes from the novel, I depicted four different scenes of blatant dehumanization with a simplified color palette to highlight what the native men were disgustingly reduced to.

A decorative star-shaped paper lantern with intricate cutout patterns, lit from within, hanging from the ceiling.

Experimental Piece: Elegance in Geometry

My goal was to construct a form that would conflict the eye but feel satisfying to observe

Young woman in black shirt and denim shorts pointing to a sign for a performing arts center with a brick wall background decorated with musical instruments and blue panther faces.
